Salmon DNA (Youth Injection) &PRP

Among the many mesotherapy and non-surgical skin rejuvenating procedures, we have been recently hearing about Salmon DNA applications, known as youth injection and PRP. So, what is PRP? What is Salmon DNA? Where does the name youth injection come from? How is it applied and on who? What are the effects?

What Is PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)?

‘’Platelet Rich Plasma’’ is the short term for the application of plasma which is concentrated in platelets (thrombocytes). This procedure involves using a small amount of blood from the patient and separating the components to achieve plasma enriched in platelets, which is used for skin rejuvenation and hair strengthening and restoration.

Thrombocytes can be named among the cells that repair damaged cells in the body. These cells help tissue regeneration by secreting important factors that play an important role in cell growth, dermal fibroblast, cell regeneration, and collagen production. With PRP, the aim is to provide pure thrombocytes and growth factors achieved by separation procedures directly to the areas in need.

Where and How is PRP Applied?

Especially for the face area, the PRP that I apply can be injected into the skin, combined with Scarlet S, applied directly on skin, or combined with dermarollers/dermapens. For hair, it is generally applied as an injection.

Over How Many Sessions is PRP Applied?

I usually recommend 5 or 6 sessions. Sessions can be done 15 days or 1 month apart. After the first treatment, the first effects can be seen as glowing and brightness on skin. These effects can be seen more effectively after regenerative sessions. I intend to do a treatment after one year to create maximum effect.

What is Salmon DNA (Youth Injection)?

Salmon DNA treatment is among the most preferred non-surgical aesthetic procedures lately. This procedure, known to have cell regenerating capability, is called “youth injection” due to its skin rejuvenation effects.  Salmon DNA is the use of pure hyaluronic acid, intense vitamin B complexes, peptides and the DNA molecules obtained from salmon sperm. Youth injection treatment fixes signs of old age and skin problems with a natural skin repair.

What Are the Benefits of Salmon DNA (Youth Injection)?

Salmon DNA treatment has multiple benefits. Skin hydration is the most important aspect of this treatment. This effect is due to the intense hyaluronic acid. Also, the enriching vitamins, inorganic salts, minerals, amino acids, and peptides provide good nutrition to the skin.

Salmon fish has the most similar DNA to the human DNA. Therefore, injection of salmon DNA into humans stimulates collagen production and helps skin become firmer and fuller within a short period of 3-4 months.

Salmon DNA treatment is especially beneficial for skin blemishes, fine lines, acne scars, under eye darkness, skin cracks, and sun marks on the face and cleavage area.

How and to Who Is Youth Injection (Salmon DNA) Applied?

I generally prefer to administer salmon DNA treatments with a two-stage approach. In the first stage, the aim is to hydrate the skin. The second stage is preventing aging signs by injecting salmon DNA serum. I usually recommend 4-5 sessions of this treatment, 2 weeks apart.

This treatment usually continues to show effects throughout 1 year. But for this, it is very important to have all the sessions at the planned time. Repeating this treatment every 6 months can be considered the most efficient way to prevent aging signs.

What are the Prices for PRP and Salmon DNA?

The factors affecting the prices for PRP and Salmon DNA procedures are the use of a PRP kit (the most important factor), the quality and the brand of the PRP kit, the brand and the application method of Salmon DNA, the qualifications of the applier, and the combination with other procedures.
