Breast Augmentation with Fat Transfer (Fat Grafting)
Breast augmentation with fat transfer (fat grafting) is basically the process of removing fat from suitable parts of the body (such as abdomen, sides, thighs) by liposuction and by injecting the fat into the breasts to enlarge the breasts. This procedure is a suitable breast enlargement option for women who are not looking for a relatively large increase in breast size and prefer natural looking results. It can also be an effective application to eliminate small asymmetries and shape differences in the breasts.
Not every woman is a suitable candidate for breast augmentation with fat grafting. The shape and consistency of the breasts, the presence of existing breast tissue (not having a flat chest), the patient who wants to enlarge / shape her breasts not aiming for a radical change / enlargement, are among the eligibility criteria that can be mentioned for breast augmentation with fat grafting.
When it comes to the advantages of enlarging the breasts with fat transfer, what can be mentioned is that the patient’s own tissue is used, the foreign object implants are not placed in the body, the liposuction procedure to be performed while harvesting the needed fat tissue to be injected can be taken from places where stubborn fat deposits are and they can be removed and contribute to body shaping. Since no incisions are made on the breasts, there is no concern about scar formation. Many of the complications that may occur from a breast augmentation surgery with implants are do not occur with this procedure.
Women who have excess skin, very little volume and sagging in their breasts and who aim for a high amount of enlargement are not expected to be suitable candidates for this operation.
